Iago Stewicks

So yeah, I was listening to some lovely piano compositions one night, and this OC of mine woke up after a long sleep. Reintroducing Iago Stewicks, who you might have possibly seen in my gallery maybe.

Horrible background is horrible.

Obligatory backstory: Iago and his twin brother (younger) Guillermo grew up without a mother, and an abusive drunkard for a father. When they were ten, social services removed him from his care and they were adopted by the Stewicks family. Iago in particular could never understand why they had to leave what he came to know as home, as he was…erm…delayed. In his new home, though he felt incredibly uncomfortable and out of place, he met his new best friend: his adoptive parents' baby grand piano. Despite his intellectual barriers, he was freely able to express himself through his music, and eventually picked up several other instruments. He could never do as well as his brother in school, although some might argue this isn't so much because he was unintelligent as it was he would rather play the piano than actually do his homework.

Iago is unskilled when it comes to emotions, and while he is very sensitive, he finds it hard to show or explain how he feels. In addition, he is absolutely horrid at reading emotions, and so can come across as cold and insensitive. Eh………so yup. Stopping here before I write an entire essay. XD
